LACONIA – Margaret M. Beach, 92, of 406 Court Street, died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at St. Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Laconia.
She was born on May 19, 1923 in At. Albans, VT, the daughter of the late Noel and Dorothy (Horskin) Mullen. Margaret was a graduate of Westbrook College in Portland, Maine. She worked for a number of years as a secretary for the Belknap County Nursing Home in Laconia. Margaret was a past member of the Meredith Congregational Church and a former member of the Lakeport Women’s Club and the LRGH Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Blake of Concord and two grandchildren; Christopher Plourde of Alaska and James Blake of Bristol. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Perley A. Beach in 1976 and one son, Phillip M. Beach.
Calling hours will be held from 12 Noon to 2PM on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2PM, also at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in the family plot at the Meredith Village Cemetery.
