David A. Maccarone, Sr., 59, of Manuel Avenue, Johnston, died Wednesday, June 9, 2015 at his home. He was the father of April Phillps, of Cranston, David Maccarone, Jr. of West Warwick, and Faith Maccarone of Wisconsin.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Louis and Irene (Edmond) Maccarone. He had lived in Tampa for most his live before returning to Johnston in March. He was a self-employed handyman before he retired. He served in the Army.
Besides his children he is survived by his granddaughter, Hannah Phillips and his sisters: Patricia Radcliffe, of Florida and Nancy Conti of Johnston. He was the brother of the late Kenneth and Louis Maccarone.
Funeral Thursday at 10:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Committal service with Military Honors at 11:30 at RI Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter.
