Richard L. Lewis age 71 of Salem, NH, died Sunday at the Lawrence General Hospital, Lawrence, MA.
He was born in Washington, Pennsylvania, grew up and was schooled in Morgantown, West Virginia. He was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 22 years, formerly of Lawrence, MA.
Mr. Lewis was a machine operator for 3M Corporation in Chelmsford, MA. He was a US Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Lawrence Elks Lodge in Lawrence, MA. He enjoyed golf and was an avid baseball fan, and in his younger days tried out for the Pittsburg Pirates Organization.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 from 4-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
