Norman Lee Carr, 37, of North Stonington died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in Ledyard. He is survived by his loving wife, Deidre Boyd Carr.
He was born on December 9, 1977 in Norfolk VA, the son of Lacy and Jacqueline McDougald. He was the older bother of Ray Carr and Lacy McDougald IV. Norman attended Morry High school in Norfolk Va.
In addition to his wife and parents, Norman is survived by his children; sons Darian Carr, Nizhyha Carr,
and Adonijha Cooper and daughters Namara Carr, Neveah Carr, Shideira Burbridge,
and Nia Cooper, as well as one granddaughter Xyaneah Carr and three Godchildren, Preonna, Austin and Tyonna. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Choince West and one uncle Michael West as well as a host of other great aunts and one great uncle and cousins and friends.
His family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 9, from 3 to 6pm at the Mashantucket Pequot Spiritual Center, 938 Shewville Road, Ledyard. Burial will be private for the family.
