
Norris Manley Pinkham, 78, of Mystic died Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his home. He was born on his family's farm in Lexington, Maine, on November 9, 1936 to Charles and Helen (Dunphy) Pinkham. Norris had 8 brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 57 years, Barbara Ardelle (Morton) Pinkham, as well as his three sons: Wayne and his wife Lisa of Block Island, Jim and his wife Rachel of Stonington and Todd and his wife Della of Gales Ferry, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren .
He was a life-long carpenter working in construction and property maintenance.
Norris enjoyed hunting and fishing but his greatest joy was coaching his 3 sons for at least 10 years at Mystic Little League. He was also involved in the Junior Navel Cadets, an organization where he helped mentor local boys. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and extended family.
In retirement Norris and Barbara enjoyed traveling the countryside with 3 of their dogs. He was also a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants.
