TEWKSBURY-Carol Ann (Huggan) Bucknam, age 67, died Thursday March 17, at Heritage
Manor after a lengthy battle with lymphoma. She was the wife of the late Albert D. Bucknam Jr.
who died in 2003.
She was born in Readville, MA on Nov. 22, 1937 the daughter of Emerson W. and Hazel
I. (Mahoney) Huggan. She was raised in Boston and graduated from Jamaica Plain High School
in 1955. She moved to Tewksbury in 1965. She worked as a Pharmacy Support Clerk for .
Merck.
She is survived by two sons, David P. and his wife Susan (Halamoutis) Bucknam of
Florida, Steven J. Bucknam and Gayle Sandner of Mehtuen; four brothers Frederick and his wife
Rita Huggan of Dedham, John and his wife Joanne Huggan of Minnesota and Florida, Robert
and his wife Carol Huggan of Groveland, MA, Gerald and his wife Lynne Huggan of Methuen; five grandchildren Nicole, Michael, Brittany, Matthew and Grace.
Her Funeral Mass was held Monday, March 21, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Burial was in Forest Hills Cemetery. Memorials to the Leukemia and
