TEWKSBURY - Beulah C. (Jones) Lobsien, 90, a resident of Tewksbury for more than five
decades, died Friday, March 18, at the Wentworth Skilled Care Center in Lowell after a two year
period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Hans E. Lobsien.
She was born in Franklin, NH, on March 16, 1915, a daughter of the late Colin and Camila
(Colby) Jones. She was raised in Franklin and graduated Franklin High School. She had lived in
Tewksbury since 1951.
She was a member of the Tewksbury United Methodist Church.
She retired from Wang Laboratories, North Street manufacturing division, where she had worked
in assembly.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Patricia (Reale) Lobsien of
Tewksbury, James and Lalaine Lobsien of Houston, TX; three sisters, Marjorie Russeau of VA,
Charlotte Brady of Randolph, Patricia Jones and her husband Carl of VA;; one brother Colin
Jones Jr. and his wife Rita of Franklin, NH, six grandchildren, Charles, Kris, Cindy, Derek,
Wendy, and Ryan Lobsien; four great grandchildren, Jonathan, Melissa, Zachary, and Amanda.
She was also sister of the late Etta Cushing, Priscilla Rogers, and Donald Jones, and grandmother
of the late William Lobsien.
Her Funeral service was held Tuesday, Mar. 22, in the funeral home. Following
cremation, burial will be in Tewksbury Cemetery.
