Obituary

Minot, ND - Jean Marie Peltier, 75, of Minot, ND, formerly of Spencer, MA, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 28, 2015.

Jean M. Collard was born on August 1, 1939, to Milton and Alma Collard, in Worcester MA. She graduated from Commerce High School, and then went on to work at Melville Shoe.

Jean was united in marriage to John W. Peltier, on May 28, 1960. Three years later they had their only child, Lori. They continued to live in Worcester, where throughout the years Jean worked at many places, The Big D Grocery Store, Goretti's Market, Home Fedreral Savings, Liberty Mutual and Ethan Allen. In 1973 John and Jean moved to Spencer MA. John passed away on September 25, 1992. Jean continued to live in Spencer until 2006, as she then decided to move to Minot, ND to be closer to her daughter and family.

While living in Minot, Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren's activities, as they were her pride and joy. She also enjoyed the companionship of the two family dogs, Chance and Julie.

Jean leaves behind her daughter Lori, her son-in-law Dr. Samir Turk, and her grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, and Emily, all of Minot, ND. Her sister and brother-in-law, Alma and Don Bryan of Rutland, MA. A brother -in-law, Tom Peltier of Medford, MA, and a sister-in-law, Peg Foley of Worcester MA, and several nieces and nephews.

Jean is preceded in death by her: her husband John Peltier, her parents, Alma and Milton Collard, and two brothers, Jackie and Milton.

Jean is returning back home to Worcester MA where she'll be buried.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 4th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 3rd from 6 to 8 PM.
