SPENCER: Dorothy M. (Dziadul) Sniffen 78, formerly of 15 1/2 Greenville St., died Tuesday, May 26 in Quaboag Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, W.Brookfield.
She was the wife of Joseph A. Sniffen who died in 2000.
She leaves her son James F. Sniffen and his wife Deborah of Brookfield, two brothers John Dziadul of Worcester and Edmond Dziadul and his wife Shagako of Mesa, Ariz., two sisters Joan Lawrence of Worcester and Florence Lawrence of Phoenix, Ariz., a granddaughter Robin M. Sniffen of Bennington, Vt., several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers Frank and Joseph Dziadul.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Augustine and Alexandria (Kwiatowski) Dziadul and graduated from Girls Trade School in Worcester. Dorothy was a licensed practical nurse for 38 years working at Westborough State Hospital, Worcester State Hospital and several area nursing homes within Worcester before retiring in 1987.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 4 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will be at a later date and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
