Tina (Boncore) Saporito passed away peacefully on Friday evening. She was 88. Born and raised in Riesi, Sicily, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Giuseppina (Pasqualino) Boncore. She and her husband came to the United States with their two oldest sons in 1955. They first lived in East Boston before settling in Medford and raising the rest of their family. For Tina family was everything and she was completely devoted to caring for and spending time with her children, grandchildren and most recently her great-grandchildren.
The beloved wife of the late Charles Saporito, she was a devoted mother to Salvatore Saporito of Tewksbury, Angelo Saporito and his wife Rose Mary of Tewksbury, Richard Saporito and his wife Karen of Wilmington, Gina and Scott Michaud of Florida. She is lovingly survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Tina also leaves her dear brother Angelo Boncore of Stoneham.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday, June 4th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM Services will conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Mausoleum, Everett. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home Wednesday 4 – 8 PM.
