Obituary

Kevan M. Sullivan age 71 of Falmouth formerly of West Bridgewater and Brockton, died Thursday May 28, 2015 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital after a sudden illness. He was the devoted husband of Sandra H. (Paul) Sullivan. Kevan was born and raised in Brockton. He lived in West Bridgewater for 23 years before living in Falmouth for the past 11 years.
Kevan graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1962, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Stonehill College in 1966. Kevan served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and retired after 30 years in the US Army Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel.
In 2004 Kevan retired from the Town of West Bridgewater Treasurer/Collectors office. Previously he had worked as a Special Agent in the US Department of Defense and as a Revenue Agent and Revenue Officer for the US Treasury Department.
Kevan enjoyed skiing, scenic drives with his wife Sandra, and working around his house. He loved winters in Sebastian, Florida, traveling, and family trips to Disney World. Kevan’s true joy in his life was his family and spending time with them.
In addition to his wife Sandra, Kevan leaves his three sons Brian M. Sullivan of E. Taunton, Stephen P. Sullivan of Brockton, and Sean M. Sullivan and his wife Christina of Milford, MA. He leaves two grandchildren Isabella and Adam. He was the brother of Lawrence J. Sullivan of Jamaica Plain and Kathleen Moncy of West Bridgewater and leaves two nieces and a nephew.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte.123) Brockton on Tuesday from 5-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:45 am for a funeral mass in Holy Cross Church, S. Easton at 10am. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:30 pm.
