Funeral Services for Mr. Bennie Will Gilley, 74, will be held Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 4:00 PM in the Bethel Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery in Turner Co. Mr. Gilley passed away Thursday at his residence.
Mr. Gilley was the son of the late William Othel and Hester Mallory Gilley and was born in Turner Co. where he resided his entire life. A retired farmer he was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Nelson Gilley, Sycamore, Ga.; his children Kem and Joyce Gilley, Sycamore, Ga., Phil and Cindy Gilley, Sycamore, Ga. and June and Buddy Whiddon, Ashburn, Ga.; his brother Carol O. Gilley, Fairfield Bay, Ark. Mr. Gilley is also survived by his grandchildren, Angie Whiddon, Athens, Ga., Teri Whiddon, Augusta, Ga., Will Whiddon, Ashburn, Ga., Chad Gilley, Grant Gilley both of Sycamore, Ga., Chase Gilley, Albany, Ga. and a great grandson Griffin Whiddon, Augusta, Ga.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 till 9 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
