Virginia (Ginny) R. Biron Lefebvre, 63, of Suncook Valley Rd., Alton, NH died Tues. Nov. 6, 2001 at her home following a lengthy illness. Ginny was born in Londonderry, NH on December 18, 1937, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Ettridge) Avery. For the past several months Ginny had resided with her daughter Lisa in Alton, NH. Prior to this she lived in Manchester for several years and Londonderry most of her life. For the past 25 years, Ginny was a country western performer. She began performing with the Country Five Band and later formed her own band known as Ginny & the G-Notes. She performed in Manchester, Derry and Nashua, as well as throughout the New England area. In addition, she was affiliated Primerica Financial Services, of Nashua, NH. Ginny was a member of St. Jude’s Church, Londonderry and was a past board member of the Christian Woman’s Club of Greater Nashua. Ginny’s greatest joy in life was her family and her many friends. Music played an important part in her life. She met many wonderful people though her musical career and enjoyed receiving the joy that music brought to her. Ginny was an avid reader who loved mysteries and biographies. She found great strength and comfort in her faith in God.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Cynthia) Smith, Manchester, NH, Mrs. Earl (Lisa) Guyette, Alton, NH, two sons, Allen (his wife Lynda) Biron, Allenstown, NH, Thomas (his wife Traci) Biron, Londonderry, NH, two stepsons, Richard (his wife Becky) Lefebvre, Alton, NH, Joel Lefebvre, Masscotte, Fl, two stepdaughters, Mrs. David (Lisa) Nichols, Effingham, NH, Mrs. Barry (Linda) Brein, Hinsdale, NH, 12 grandchildren, 15 step grandchildren, one sister, (Dixie) Mary Menard, Pembroke, NH, one stepsister, Betty Ellis, Allenstown, NH, also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters, Alice Duval, Charlotte Dennis, Elizabeth Nelson, and by her brother, Albert Avery.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Sat. Nov. 10, 2001 at 10:00am in St. Jude’s Church, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Londonderry. Friends may call on Thursday from 7-9pm and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
