WORCESTER-Kenneth R. Babbidge, Jr., 61, 0f 1060 Main Street, died Tuesday, March 15th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves 2 daughters, Jennifer M. Babbidge of Uxbridge, and Kathleeen E. wife of Michael Boehnke of Worcester, his mother Esther (Ellis) and step-father James J. Johnston of Las Vegas, a grand-daughter Olivia Boehnke of Worcester, a nephew, a niece and cousins. A brother Robert A. Babbidge predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, his father was the late Kenneth R. Babbidge, Sr. Mr. Babbidge had been a steelworker for Merrill and Usher, and later worked as a supply clerk for the Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital and had served in the Army. He was an avid softball player, Patriots and Red Sox fan, card player and was active with the O’Brien Little League.
The funeral is Friday, March 18th with a service at Noon in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, from 10:00 until the time of the funeral.
