Salvatore A. DeVincenzo of Dedham, died March 14, 2005 at his home. He was 84. Mr. DeVincenzo was born in Boston’s North End and grew up in West Roxbury. He was the son of the late Donato and Maria (Constantino) DeVincenzo. He has lived in Dedham since 1964. He was an Army AirCorp Veteran of WW II, Europe, and a member of the VFW Post 144, North End, Boston. He worked as a Federal Employee and a construction inspector.

DeVincenzo and his wife Christine of Dedham, Henry of North Attleboro, Anthony of West Roxbury, Nicholas and Edward of Dedham, Maria Christina and her Husband Steven Collins of Cranston,RI, and Lisa and her husband Anthony Graffeo of Winchester. Devoted grandfather of Donald DeVincenzo Jr., Melissa and her husband Jason DeGroff of Berlin,CT, Jennifer and Kristine Collins, Stephanie Clinton, Christina Graffeo, and Nicholas, Michelle, and Lisa DeVincenzo. Great grandfather of Alaina, Kaylin, and Megan DeGroff.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Friday at 8 am. Funeral mass in St. Susanna’s Church, Dedham, at 9 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 pm. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
