Marion B. (McGee) Foley, 87, formerly of North Kingston, RI died Monday, March 14, at the Christopher House.
Her husband, Ralph V. Foley died in 1988. She leaves two sons, Paul V. Foley of Worcester and William P. Foley of Blackstone; three daughters, Katherine M. Fitzpatrick of Tiverton, RI, Patricia A. MacMillan of Englewood, FL and Marion B. Brown of North Kingston, RI; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A son, Terence G. Foley, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles and Mary (McGrath) McGee and graduated from Ascension High School and Carney School of Nursing.
Mrs. Foley was a registered nurse for Rhode Island State Hospital for many years, retiring in 1979. She was a former member of the Ascension Alumni, St. Bernard’s Church in North Kingston, RI and St. Charles Borromeo Church in Woonsocket, RI.
The funeral will be held, Friday, March 18, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Whitinsville.
