Gingilisky of Brockton March 11, 2005 Rita M. (Morea) Gingilisky 79 years. Wife of the late Joseph Gingilisky. Devoted and loving mother of Edward J. and Joseph S. Gingilisky and Linda A. McCarthy and her husband James all of Brockton. Loving grandmother of Jennnifer Monahan and Shaun Gingilisky. Great grandmother of Daniel and Alicia.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:30am in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Donations in Rita’s memory may be made to Hospice of Greater Brockton 500 Belmont St. Brockton, MA 02301.

Obituary

Mrs. Gingilisky died Friday evening at her home surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was born in Cambridge and raised in Wellfleet a daughter of the late Manuel and Hattie (Taylor) Morea. For over 50 years she had been a resident of Brockton.
Before her retirement Mrs. Gingilisky was a cafeteria worker for the Brockton School Department.
She was a member of the Dorn Davies Senior Center and enjoyed their bus tours to Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and Atlantic City. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and past member of the Women’s Auxilary DAV Post 76, Brockton and the Women’s Guild of St. John’s Church, East Bridgewater.
Mrs. Gingilisky was an avid bingo player and loved going on cruises.
She is survived by her two sons and daughter, Edward J. and Joseph S. Gingilisky and Linda A. McCarthy and her husband James all of Brockton. Two grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was the sister of Louis Morea of Yarmouthport, Manuel Morea of N. Dartmouth, Eleanor Cormier-Christy of Bridgewater and Frances Dumas of East Bridgewater
She also leaves many nieces and nephews

She was the wife of the late Joseph Gingilisky and sister of the late Robert Morea
