MICKLE - Tom Mickle, 55, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his Fernandina Beach, FL residence.
He was born April 15, 1960 in Boone, IA and moved to Fernandina Beach 30 years ago.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. He was a retired iron worker and a member of Iron Workers Local 597. Tom was also the owner of T J's Custom Welding Worx.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Barbara Mickle of Fernandina Beach, FL; a step son, Kyle Robert Cross (Melissa) of Beaverville, IL; step daughter, Kimberly Ann Cross-Mitchell (Kalief) of Newport, RI; his parents, Jack and Katy Mickle of Boone, IA; two sisters and brothers in law, Linda and Dr. Robert Stepp of Oklahoma City, OK and Julie and Dwight Phillips of Delta Junction, AK; a grandson, Cameron Taylor Chinn of Newport, RI; two step grandchildren, Wesley & Tori Hemp of Beaverville, IL and four nieces and nephews, Luke Skidmore, Lindsay Skidmore, Rachel John and Angela Glass.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday May 31, at Green Pine Funeral Home, Yulee, FL. All other services and interment will be in Boone, IA. Stark - Welin Funeral Directors will be handling services in Boone, (515) 432-4550.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to The American Heart Association.
