Worcester- Martha E. (Beaupre) Gedman, 74, of 425 Pleasant Street, died Sunday, March 13, in St. Vincent Hospital.
Her husband, Richard L. Gedman Sr., died in 1986. She leaves three sons, Richard L. Gedman Jr. of Framingham, Paul M. Gedman of Dudley, and AFCM George A. Coleman (USN Ret.) of Middleburg, FL; a daughter, Danielle M. DeJoinville of Worcester; a brother, George Beaupre of Sterling; two sisters, Mary Howe of Brookfield and Ruth LaBonte of Oxford; eight grandchildren; a great granddaughter; nephews and nieces. A daughter, Deborah M. Stone, died in 1986. She was also predeceased by a brother, Bernard Beaupre and a sister, Rose Clark. She was born in Worcester, daughter of George and Gladys (Lucia) Beaupre and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Gedman was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish. She was a member of the P.T.A. at the former Lamartine Street School and the Green Island Mothers Club.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 16, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, in the funeral home.
