Virginia Ruth Brooks Morgan, 80, of Red Oak, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. She was born on August 8, 1934 in Charlotte County to the late Thomas Oliver Brooks and the late Elsie Bradberry Brooks. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her husband, Wayne Ballard Morgan, one daughter, Rhita Morgan Burton and her husband, R.C. of Chase City, one brother, Charlie Brooks of Red Oak, numerous nieces and nephews, and her special friends, Henry and Carrie Lee Fitz. She is predeceased by her son, Wylie Wayne Morgan and her sister, Thelma Tuck. Virginia is a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Red Oak. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
