Obituary

FALL RIVER …Armand Leon Boudria, 84, of Fall River passed away on May 27, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of Rachel (Dunkin) Boudria of Fall River.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Euclide and Eve (Giroux) Boudria and was a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Boudria was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as the Director of Education for the Department of Corrections. He enjoyed traveling, coaching American Legion Baseball, cookouts and spending time with his family.
Armand had earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Bridgewater State University. He served in the United State Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict as part of N.A.T.O. Forces and served on covert operations.
Along with his wife, survivors include 3 sons: Michael E. Boudria of Tiverton, RI, David T Boudria and his wife Cherylanne of Fall River & Daniel J. Boudria of Fall River, a daughter: Sharon M. Viveiros and her husband Bert of Fall River, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was father of the late Thomas L. Boudria and brother of the late Pauline St. Pierre, Yolanda Ouellette and Simone Nicholas.
Funeral with full military honors to which relatives and family are invited to will be held Monday at 9 AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Bernadette’s Parish, 529 Eastern Ave, Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
