Patricia E. Souza, age 64 of Fall River, passed away on May 10, 2015 at home. She was the daughter of the late Joseph T. & Jeanne L. (Lynch) Silvia. Pat worked for Charlton Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse for over 38 years and retired in 2007 due to illness.
She is survived by her daughter: Patricia L. Souza of Fall River; grandson: Stephen Gerald Souza of Fall River; siblings: David Silvia of Ohio, Virginia Pires of Dighton, Kathleen LeBlanc & James Silvia both of Fall River, Joanne Gregory of Little Compton, and Cynthia Dunn of Milford, NH; many nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph T. Silvia Jr.
She also leaves behind her longtime friend, William Kirkman of Fall River. She loved her cat “Wilson”, volunteered with People Incorporated’s “Smile” program and the Joe Primo Saturday Soup Kitchen. Pat also took some Adult Continuing Education Classes in Genealogy and Poetry, enjoyed sewing, reading, crossword puzzles, music, and attending to her garden.
A Funeral Mass with cremated remains will be held in Holy Name Church, Hanover St. Fall River on Wednesday, June 10 at 11:00 A.M.
