Charles A. Wilcox, 72, of New Bedford died March 11, 2005 unexpectedly at home.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late David and Elizabeth (Mayes) Wilcox, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was formerly employed by Knapp Shoe for many years until its closing.
Mr. Wilcox served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Charlene Sylvia, and her husband Jeff, of Dartmouth, Lisa Shea and Susan Thomas, and her husband Wayne, all of New Bedford; a sister, Helena DeMoranville of New Bedford; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Tuesday, March 15th at 11 AM.
Visiting hours Monday, March 14th from 5-7 PM.
Interment Acushnet Cemetery.
