Edna G. (Curtin) Carter age 91 of Salem, NH, died Tuesday at the Wentworth Douglas Hospital, Dover, NH.
She was born in Cambridge, MA, grew up and was educated in Arlington, MA. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 25 years, formerly of Melrose, MA.
Mrs. Carter was a retired homemaker. She had previously worked as a Dipper for Fanny farmer Candy in Charlestown, MA. She was a member of the Salem Senior Citizens, and Melrose, MA Senior Citizens.
She was predeceased by her husband William Carter. She was also predeceased by a son William Kearins.
She is survived by 1 Son: Robert & his Wife Marion O’Keefe of Laconia, NH
1 Daughter: Donna Barr of Dover, NH
1 Brother: Joseph Curtin of Roslindale, MA
1 Step Son: William E. Carter of Stamford, CT
3 Step Daughters: Joyce & her Husband Richard Lemay of Latham, NH
Nancy & her Husband James Dario of Edgartown, MA
Linda & her Husband William Pucci of Boxford, MA
12 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews
Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:30 AM at Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 7-9 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
