Westport – Jeanne K. (Kirkwood) Lewis, 76, of Westport died Monday, March 7, 2005 at home. She was the widow of Marion Lewis.
She was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Liston and Irene (Lapointe) Kirkwood, and had resided in Westport since 1949. Prior to retirement she was employed as a technician for Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, Fall River for 25 years and also worked for Quaker Fabric Company, Fall River for 15 years. She was a Communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport.
She is survived by a son: Mario J. Lewis of Westport; a brother: Robert L. Kirkwood of Tiverton, RI; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the grandmother of the late Carl Lewis and the sister of the late Nancy E. Donndelinger.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, March 11, 2005 from the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 9:00 A.M.
Calling hours Thursday 5 – 8 P.M.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
