Katherine “Kay” Fletcher
...home health aid; 91
TEWKSBURY - Katherine “Kay” (Crusco) Fletcher, 91, a former home health aid, died Monday,
March 7, at the Blaire House of Tewksbury, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late
Edward J. Fletcher, who died in 1999.
She was born in Cambridge, March 16, 1913, a daughter of the late Rocco and Maria Francesca (Donata)
Crusco. She raised her family in Woburn, where she had lived the greater part of her life, and

In her earlier years, she worked at Woolworth’s and Sylvania in Woburn. In her later years, she
became a home health aid, working well into her eighties. As an octogenarian home health aid,
many people were amused by the fact she was older than many of her clients.
In her retirement years, she and her husband enjoyed their travel trailer, and she was a member of
the Good Sam R.V. Club.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. Fletcher Jr. and his wife Patricia (Hogan)
of Tewksbury; a daughter, Barbara A. Guerino of Panama City, FL; five grandchildren, Edward J.
Fletcher III, Michael P. Fletcher, and Amy Fuller all of Tewksbury, David S. Guerino and Lisa A.
Koepke of FL; six great grandchildren, Nychole, Caila, Nicholas, Jill, Sarah, and Tiffany; two
great great grandchildren, Antonio, and Haley; two sisters; Frances Gilmartin of
Woburn, Mary McCaffrey of Cambridge; a brother, Louis Crusco of Cambridge; two sisters-in-
law, Mary Crusco of Waltham, Dorothy Crusco of Cambridge; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also grandmother of the late Thomas S. Fletcher, and sister of the late Salvatore, Chris, Michael, Rocco Crusco, and Rose Bregoli.
Her Funeral Mass was held Saturday March 12 in St. William’s
Church, Tewksbury. Burial was in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701-
