Greighton L. Wilbur, 83, formerly of 372 Beech St., Manchester, died March 2, 2005, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Manchester, after a lengthy illness.
He was born April 2, 1921 in Greenfield, MA, and was the son of Earl and Anna (Matosky) Wilbur. He lived most of his life in Manchester.
He served in the US Army during World War II and was stationed in New Guinea and the Philippines.
He worked for A. Metivier Movers for 28 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rosalie S. (Beaudoin) Wilbur in 2001, and by a daughter, Regina Victoria Wilbur in 1997.
Family members include a daughter, Carolann Deselle of Manchester; a brother Everett Wilbur of Binghamton, NY; a sister, Ernestine French of Newfields, NH; many nieces and nephews.
