Graveside Funeral Services for Doris B. Shealy, 79, of Ashburn will be held Friday, March 4, 2005 at 11:00 AM in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Shealy passed away Wednesday at the Ashburn Health Care following a lenghty illness.
Mrs. Shealy was born in Turner Co., Georgia to Isom M. and Vivian Sweat Brown and had lived in Turner Co. her entire life. A member of the Ashburn 1st Baptist Church, she retired from the Marine Corp Logistics Base in Albany. She was the widow of Kenneth Lanier Shealy. She was also preceded in death by a son, Steve Shealy, September 29, 1988.
Survivors include her children, Gregory Shealy of Augusta, Ga.; Susan Lumsden, Sycamore, Ga.; Brenda Shealy, Ashburn, Ga.; Karen S. Wynn, Sycamore, Ga. and Deborah Haman, Palm Bay, Fla. 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
