Obituary

DUDLEY –Mary S. (Witkowski) Walkowicz, 84, of 6 Progress Ave., died Monday, Feb. 28, in Webster Manor. Her husband of 46 years, Mitchell J. Walkowicz, died in 1998.

She leaves a daughter, Christine A. Walkowicz of Arlington; a son, Mitchell J. Walkowicz, Jr., of Montague; 3 sisters, Frances Dalterio of Webster, Julie Robbins of Holiday, FL, and Helena Witkowski of Thompson; a grandson, Owen A. Walkowicz of Montague; nieces and nephews.
Predeceasing her were sisters Anna Witkowski and Josephine Dabrowski, and brothers Anthony, John, Stanley, Paul, and Walter.

She was born and raised in Thompson, a daughter of Wojiech and Aniela (Skowron) Witkowski, and lived in Dudley most of her life.

Mrs. Walkowicz was a homemaker and devoted mother. She was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Church. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching and the Boston Red Sox.

The funeral will be held Friday, March 4, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Calling hours are from 6:00 to 9:00 Thursday evening, March 3, in the funeral home.
