Obituary

WORCESTER-Mary M. (Rebokis) Dixon, 88, of 152 Uncatena Avenue died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, February 26th in her home. Her husband, James M. Dixon died in 1984. She leaves a son, James A. Dixon of Titusville, FL, 2 daughters, Mary J. Howe of Worcester and Kathleen A. Cleary of Uxbridge, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. A daughter, Phyllis Dixon, 2 brothers, George and John Rebokis, 3 sisters, Ann Dickson, Elizabeth Kutron and Josephine Saulenas, 3 half brothers and 1 half sister predeceased her.

She was born in Leicester the daughter of Frank and Eva (Paulukonis) Rebokis. Mrs. Dixon worked as a cosmetician for Denholm & McKay for many years until her retirement in the mid 1970’s. Previously she worked for Scherers and Filenes department stores. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church.

The funeral is Wednesday, March 2nd, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, March 1st from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
