92 years old. Preceded in death by wife Catherine, daughter Patricia, son-in-law Scott Sigford, 6 siblings & his parents George & Sarah. Survived by wife Dolores; children Georgiana Sauer (John), John (Yvette Citizen), Becky Whittet (Robert), Cathy Bichsel, Teresa Menz & Robert (Angel); grandchildren Lisa, Katie, Emily, Max, Teresa, Andy, Roger, Sadie, Claire & Matthew; great grandchildren Ben, Jacob, Hadley & Madeline. Jack graduated from Seattle University with a BS in Engineering after serving in the US Army & Navy during WWII. He spent his entire adult life working for Northern Pacific/Burlington Northern, retiring as Director of Mechanical Services in 1983. Jack loved his family, locomotives, distance running and the outdoors. Memorial Mass Monday (May 18) at 10:30 AM at TRANSFIGURATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 6133 15th Street North, Oakdale with visitation one hour before the Mass. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer's Association.
