Born in Boston and a lifelong Malden resident, Phyllis passed away early Tuesday morning at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. In her early years she drove cab for 5050 Cab Company and in later years she took great pride and care in transporting handicaped children. A Maplewood Square girl all her life, she enjoyed family vacations to New Hampshire as well as visiting casinos locally or in Las Vegas with her sister-in-law.
