Robin Gail (Roudebush-Gill) Carper
51, of Kokomo, slipped into the arms of her Savior on May 6, 2015 after a long and courageous fight with cancer. She was born in Saratoga Springs, NY on July 2, 1963 to Robert and Anna (Pate) Roudebush of Anderson, formerly of Kokomo, who survive.
Robin graduated from Kokomo High School in 1981. She later went on to graduate from Ivy Tech Community College with a degree in Medical Billing and Coding. She previously worked for Kokomo Center Schools and Delphi Electronic Systems. She attended New Covenant Church.
Robin was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and “Nana” who enjoyed reading, painting, shopping, and all things chocolate. Most of all, Robin loved spending time with her family and her best friend, Linda Lawrence. She had a huge heart and capacity for loving others, including many fur-babies.
Surviving are her children, Jonathan, Elizabeth and Sarah Kate Gill (Mark Gill and James Stamper); grandchildren, Jonathan Brown-Gill and Gabriel Gill; siblings, Lori Cardwell Clemons (Bill) and John Roudebush (Jennifer); many nieces and nephews; and her teacup Chihuahua, Tinker Bell.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Dale “Roudy” and Sarah Kathleen “Katy” Roudebush; grandmother, Jean Loraine Pate; sister, Suzanne Stimson; nephew, Israel Cardwell.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Oncology Department at the Erskine Center (Anderson, IN), the staff at Meadow Brooke Rehabilitation Center (Anderson, IN), and the Neurology Unit at St. Vincent Hospital (Indianapolis) for the extraordinary care they gave her this year.
Family and friends may gather for a celebration of life ceremony on Saturday, May 16th at 1:30 pm. The service will be held at:
