Worcester - Mercedes R. (Patenaude) LeBlanc, 92, of 27 Mill Pond Rd. died Thursday April 18 in the Hermitage Nursing Center after an illness.
Her husband Philip LeBlanc died in 1975. She leaves two sisters Beatrice M. Reidy and Bernadette Charbonneau both of Worcester and several nephews and nieces. Mrs. LeBlanc was born in Worcester daughter of Horace and Alphonsine (Primeau) Patenaude.
She worked as a stitcher for the Nancy Howard Coat Factory for 20 years retiring in 1972. Mrs. LeBlanc was also a member of Christ the King Church.
The funeral will be held on Saturday April 20 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10:30 AM in Christ the King Church 1052 Pleasant St.. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Saturday April 20 from 9 to 10 AM in funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Church 1052 Pleasant Worcester, MA 01602.
