Diane P. Cardinal, 46, of 4 Church St., Belmont died in her residence February 22, 2005. She was born in Laconia on June 19, 1958 and had resided in the Laconia-Belmont area for most of her life.
She was a graduate of Laconia High School had worked as an assistant at the Appleridge Home and also at the NH Humane Society. She attended Empire Beauty School and for several years was employed as a hair stylist in Meredith.
Though ill health forced her to retire, Diane remained a talented artist in the arts and crafts field.
She is survived by two sons, Andrew Cardinal of Belmont and Jeremy Cardinal of Laconia; two grandsons, Domynick and Gage Cardinal of Laconia; her mother, Irene (Boissonnault) Chandronait of Laconia; her father, Roger Morel of Gilford; a sister, Susan Bowles of Laconia; two brothers, Robert Morel of Claremont NH and Steven Morel of Meredith; numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Deborah Morel and a brother Roger Morel Jr.
A calling hour was held in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St. Saturday from 10 to 11 AM followed by a ceremony of remembrance.
