Ret. Major E. Louise Blair, age 76, a member and officer of the Salvation Army for more than 60 years, died Thursday morning in Buffalo, N.Y.
She was born Sept. 13, 1928, a daughter of the late James and Helen (Warman) Blair, and raised in Cambridge.
She had a lifelong affiliation with the Salvation Army, and served throughout eastern Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York City and Buffalo, NY. She retired in 1992 after 60 years as a member and officer.
She is survived by four sisters, Lillian Proulx, and June Saunders of Tewksbury, Marjorie Calderman and Jean Graham of CA; a brother, James Blair of CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Elizabeth Warman.
Her Funeral was held Friday morning, Mar. 4, in the
Salvation Army Chapel, 150 Appleton Street, Lowell. Burial was in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the Salvation Army of Lowell, 150 Appleton St. Lowell, MA 01852, will be
