Jane Leonard Bailey, 69, of New Bedford died Wednesday February 23, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Kenny) Leonard, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
Mrs. Bailey was employed as a teacher at Normandin Junior High School until her retirement.
She was a graduate of College Misericordia in Pennsylvania.
Survivors include three sons, Stephen L. Bailey, and his wife Nancy, of Bakersfield, Calif., Andrew J. Bailey, and his wife Paula, of Westport, and Christopher J. Bailey, and his wife Elizabeth, of Coral Gables, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Paul Leonard.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Saturday February 26, 2005 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Lawrence Church at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Friday February 25, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
