Anne L. (Fitzgerald) Ferrari of Reading passed away on Monday, February 21, 2005 at Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield. She was 89 years of age.
Born in Charlestown, Anne was a resident of Reading for the past 52 years. She was the beloved daughter of the late Michael J. Fitzgerald and Helen (Young) Fitzgerald. Anne was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister in law and friend. She will be missed by all.
Anne was the Former President of The Cedar Glen Social Club and a member of the Golden Ages. She was a dedicated homemaker for many years. Anne loved her family. They were first and foremost in her life. She also enjoyed traveling.
Anne was the beloved wife of the late Victor A. Ferrari. She was the devoted mother of Lorraine A. Hamilton and her husband Robert of Billerica, Virginia Sannella and her late husband Michael of Lynnfield and the late Victor “Teddy” A. Ferrari Jr. Anne was the cherished grandmother of Kim McRae and her husband Phil, Barry Hamilton and his wife Louise, Keith Sannella and his wife Candace, Jodi Hamilton, Kirk Sannella, Jill Bagni and her husband Richard. She was the loving great grandmother of 9 and the dear sister of the late Mary Fitzpatrick, Catherine Bennett, Frank Fitzgerald, Paul and Pauline Fitzgerald, Ester Fitzgerald. Anne was also survived by 3 sisters in law and 2 brothers in law.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday at 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Anne’s life held in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 11:30am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Thursday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading.
