Bridgewater - Lorna G. (Rollins) Garrison, 79, of Bridgewater died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, at Morton Hospital in Taunton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Roland C. Garrison.
Born June 4, 1925, in Old Town, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Walter B. and Estella (Peabody) Rollins.
Mrs. Garrison had been a resident of Bridgewater since the age of 8 and graduated from Bridgewater High School, Class of 1944.
She had formerly worked as a manager of the school cafeteria at the McElwain School and as a sales clerk for many years at Sears & Roebuck Co. in Brockton.
Mrs. Garrison enjoyed gardening, sewing, singing in the choir, knitting and quilting.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Tiana Garrison of Bridgewater; and two grandchildren, Lee Garrison Jr. of East Bridgewater and Jane Garrison of Bridgewater.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rt. 18), Bridgewater.
