Obituary

Mary E. Fazio, passed away suddenly at her home in Medford, on Sunday, February 20, the wife of the late Anthony J. Fazio. She was eighty years old.

Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Rohan) and Garrett Sullivan. Mary was raised in Boston and was a graduate of St. Patricks High School in Roxbury. After her marriage she and Anthony settled in Medford.

Mary devoted herself to raising her family and in recent years greatly enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a avid reader, loved to listen to music and enjoyed traveling, most of all she enjoyed cooking for her family.

She is survived by her three sons, Thomas Fazio and Alison of Burlington, Garrett Fazio and Cheryl of Medford and Joseph Fazio and Monica of Burlington. Also three loving grandchildren Anthony, Ashley and Brendan. Four sisters, Margaret Goodwin and Catherine MacDonald of Quincy, Dorothea Sullivan and Frances Zoldos of Mississippi, and one brother Garrett Sullivan of Quincy. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews

Along with her husband Anthony, she is predeceased by a sister Alice Bennett and three brothers Thomas Sullivan, Arthur and John Bopp.

Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home. 306 Main St. Medford, on Thursday, February 24, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assis Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 10. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

Visiting hours at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 23, from 3 thru 8.
