Aurora E. Bartlett, 76, of Derry, NH, died Monday, February 21, 2005 in Laurel Center Genesis Eldercare of Bedford. Mrs. Bartlett was born in Ste. Cyrille, Quebec, Canada on June 24, 1928, a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Valliere) Rene. She was a resident of Derry for several years formerly living in Windham, NH, Lynn, MA and Worcester, MA where she was raised. She was employed as a clerk for Bradleys Dept. Store in Swampscott, MA and Salem, NH. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and also enjoyed collecting shoes.
She is survived by one son, Russell A. Bartlett Jr. and his wife Susan of Windham, two daughters, Glenda A. Taylor and her husband William of Londonderry, NH, Lisa A. Coleman and her husband Gary of Windham, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one sister, Jeanette Mitchell of Worcester, MA, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Russell A. Bartlett Sr. in 1984.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 24th at 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. Burial will be in the Spring in Meadowview Cemetery, Amherst, NH. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 - 8pm in the funeral home.
