Florence R. Dumas 93, formerly of Elm St., died Saturday at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Xavier Flamand, and Ralph J. Dumas Sr. Born in Bellingham, MA, she was a daughter of the late Donat and Albertine (Payette) Gelinas.
Before retiring, Florence worked as a salesperson at the former Rathbun Outlet Department Store for ten years. She also worked as a waitress for the former Quality Lunch, Meadow Crest Restaurant and the Hamlet Dinner.
She is survived by three sons Rene Flamand of Attleboro, Ralph J. Dumas JR and Alex Dumas both of Woonsocket, a daughter Donna Dumas of Woonsocket, a sister Jeanne Sylvestre of Woonsocket, three grandchildren and three great-grandsons. She was also the sister of the late Beatrice Falardeau, Therese Durand, Alice Sullo, Romeo Gelinas and Arthur Gelinas.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket.
