Rose Sciacca, passed away on Friday evening, February 18, at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford, she was ninety-two years old.
Born in New Haven, Ct., she was the daughter of the late Victoria (Giudice) and Benjamin Camerano. Raised in Boston she settled in Medford over sixty years ago. She was devoted to her family and enjoying being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rose worked as a medical secretary for over forty years to the late Dr. John Verdone a long time practitioner in Medford.
She is survived by her son Joseph Sciacca and his wife Lee of Arlington. Three loving grandchildren Joseph Sciacca of New York, Lisa Garcia of Ct., and Karen Shamon of Northborough, also five loving great grandchildren, Kevin and Matthew Garcia, Julia Sciacca, Brooke and Lindsay Shamon. One brother Daniel Camerano and his wife Assunta of Medford.
She was predeceased by her brother Carmen Camerano and her sister Lucy Pistone.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford on Tuesday, February 22, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Somerville at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
