Delaware – Evelyn M. (Lassonde) Lyden, 84, of Bear, Delaware died Wednesday, February 16, 2005 died after a long illness. She was the widow of Francis M. Lyden.
She was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Napoleon and Mary B. (Potter) Lassonde, and had resided in the area for many years prior to moving to Delaware several years ago.
She is survived by a son: Michael J. Lyden of West Palm Beach, FL; 2 daughters: Frances Timko of Bear, DE and Colleen Monahan of Mesa, AZ; 2 sisters: Gladys V. Lagasse of Tiverton, RI and Irene A. Riley of Tiverton, RI; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
She was sister of the late Doris Choquette.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Sunday, February 20, 2005 at Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport at 4:00 P.M.
Calling hours 2 – 4 P.M. prior to the service.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport will be private.
