Stanley Curtis Dennison
November 22, 1940-May 3, 2015



Stanley Curtis Dennison, 74, of Anderson, passed away May 3, 2015, at Community Hospital in Anderson.

He was born on November 22, 1940, Cave City, Kentucky, to the late Earl and Goldie (Crews) Dennison. He was a proud United States Army Veteran, who loved fishing, and was an avid NASCAR race fan.

Stan worked as a Union Contractor and built many homes in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. He retired from Hoosier Park in 2012, which was a job he really enjoyed.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rosemary Cram Dennison; sons, Tony (Pamela) Dennison, Curtis Dennison, Gary (Joyce) Hancock, Ed Hancock, and Kip (Freda) Skaggs; daughters, Dianna Dennison, Sherry Dennison, and Cindy Lovins; Sisters- Loretta Elrod, Hope (Tim) Avery, Mannie (Troy) Early, Gail (Lee) McFarland and Geraldean (Kenny) Hinton. Several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His sisters in laws; Penny (Chuck) Kopp and Nancy Barker, and brothers in laws; Jack and Glen Cram.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Lutitia English and Brenda Fleeherty, brothers; Earl and Larry Dennison, and daughter, Vanessa Dennison.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 7 , 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
