Heidi M. C. Simone, 62 of Derry, NH died Sunday May 3, 2015 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry following a lengthy illness. Heidi was born in Winchester, MA, on July 31, 1952, a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Cosby) Christensen. After growing up in Reading, MA she resided for the past 14 years in Derry, and had also lived in Salem and Windham, NH. Heidi had been employed for several years with Hewlett-Packard in Andover, MA.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Simone of Derry, two step-children, Ken Simone of Cincinnati, OH, and Cheryl Simone of Richmond, VA, five step-grandchildren, one brother, Peter Christensen of Belmont, NH, one sister, Ann Holmes of Cromwell, CT, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Heidi was predeceased by her infant son Jonathan, and by her sister, Judy Hamilton.
Following cremation, memorial services are being scheduled for the end of June.
The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
