Caroline DelMonte, Of Somerville died Monday after a long illness in the Courtyard Nursing Care Center Medford, MA.
Born in Portland, Maine, she lived over 75 years in Somerville and was the daughter of the late Matilda (Pernarella) and Giuseppe DelMonte. Caroline was a Supervisor for 45 years, at the former F.W. Dodge Company in Boston a construction news publisher. She was a Eucharistic Minister, member of St. Polycarp Sodality, worked on the church bulletin and was very active in the Legion of Mary.
Cherished sister of Paulina DiMauro of Woburn, and the late Maria Conti, Agostino DelMonte, Linda Anania, Antoinette “Donna” Ghiloni. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
