Obituary

Namvar Mansouri,56, of Worcester passed away Thursday April 30th at St.Vincent's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 35 years, Maria (Filippalidakis) Mansouri, his son Sherwin Mansouri and his daughter Mina Mansouri both of Worcester. His mother Nayereh Salehi, 2 brothers Nader and Nariman Mansouri, and 2 sisters Nagmeh and Nadere Salehi all of Semnan, Iran. He was predeceased by his father Ghodratollah Mansouri.

He was born in Semnan, Iran. The son of Ghodratollah Mansouri and Nayereh Salehi. He immigrated to Worcester in 1976. He was a high school graduate of Worcester Academy, 1978 and Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters degree in Business Management in 1985. He was self employed owning several successful businesses throughout the years.
He enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. His laugh was infectious and his wit unparalleled.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 5th from Nordgren Funeral Home with a service at 10am at St. Spyridon's Orthodox Cathedral 102 Russell Street Worcester, MA. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 4-7 in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605 with a Trisargian service at 6:00pm.
