Auburn– Gerard A. Morin, 68, died April 28, 2015 at Elliot Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on August 22, 1946 the son of Arthur and Eva (Shank) Morin.
He enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and trips to Las Vegas.
He served his country in the U. S. Army National Guard.
He had worked at Disogrin for over 20 years, Superior Coffee as well as a Traffic Controller.
Family members include his wife of 49 years, Lorraine (Parisey) Morin of Auburn, one son, Gerard A. Morin Jr. and his wife, Susan of Weare, two daughters, Jacqueline Morin of Antrim, Denise Morin of Pittsfield, four grandchildren, Rebecca, Kyle, Scott, Joshua, one brother, Roger Morin and his wife, Vivian of Manchester, one sister, Mary Bell and her husband, Kenneth of Georgia, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 6 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A graveside prayer service will take place on Tuesday at 10 AM in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
