Dante J. Mangini, 95 of Milford formerly of Natick, died April 27, 2015 at Milford Hospital.
Born in Waltham, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Julia (Brandolini) Mangini. He enlisted in the Army Air Force in 1941 and was a veteran of World War II. He received a Masters in Education from Northeastern University and was a teacher and administrator in the Natick school system and taught drivers' education for many years.
Dante was the devoted husband of Lucy (Lentini) Mangini for 64 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters: Kathleen Taylor and her husband, Rick of Milford, Diane Parker and her husband, George of Williamstown, VT, Julie Mangini of Natick and Lisa Pearson and her husband, Bill of Framingham. Sons: Daniel Mangini of Franklin, Paul & Joseph Mangini of Milford, Stephen Mangini and his wife, Melissa of AZ, 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren He was also the father of the late Maria Driscoll. He is survived by two brothers: Victor Mangini of NH and Tony Mangini of Waltham and one sister: Constance Enik of Waltham.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 4, at 10:00 in St. Patrick's Church Natick. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery Natick. Visiting hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common are Sunday, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
